PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy at Darkrecord.
This page explains the information a standard Darkrecord WordPress site may process. The Darkrecord theme itself does not include analytics, advertising trackers, external fonts or hidden telemetry. Plugins or services you add can process additional data and should be documented here.
Information you provide
If you contact the site, submit a story, create an account or leave a comment, the site may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name or pseudonym, email address and message content.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting provider and WordPress may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, server logs and security events. Retention depends on the hosting and security configuration.
Cookies
WordPress may use essential cookies for functions such as login sessions, comments and administrative preferences. Additional plugins can set their own cookies. If non-essential analytics, advertising or embedded services are added, update this policy and obtain consent where required.
Story submissions
Do not submit private addresses, passwords, financial information, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information. If a submission is published, the information selected for publication can become publicly accessible.
Your choices
You may contact Darkrecord to ask about personal information you have provided and to request correction or deletion where applicable, subject to legal, security and editorial record-keeping requirements.
